THE BOOK OF GIN
A combination like Gin & Tonic. I designed this booklet to showcase Hancock’s range of Gins. This booklet needed to incorporate branding styles from a range of Gins and work together cohesively.
For this reason I went for an old English mixed media style to tie everything together.
THE PROCESS
First I was given the brief in written form, I then proceeded to talk through the brief with the client and get any questions answered.
I then gathered all the content and started laying it out in the best and most logical order.
Next I decided on a theme and started mocking up a layout for the booklet in sketch form. I created a grid to use for the whole booklet to make sure everything is cohesive and consistent throughout.
I then gathered all visuals needed and started laying everything out.
Next is refinements and final touches before sending off to print.
And the last stage is seeing it all printed and in the flesh. Always such a rewarding feeling.
